Artist Spotlight: Cashus C.R.E.A.M

Most people’s lives are built solely around the choices they make, but there are a select few who are destined for greatness. At 25, Cashus C.R.E.A.M. is one of them. The Connecticut-born, Queens, New York-based songwriter/lyricist has been creating hits for others thus far, and is now ready to unveil his own music and impeccable skills on the mic. His new mixtape project GameTime, hosted by the world-famous DJ Green Lantern, boasts an array of top producers on original tracks, including Ron Browz, Shea Taylor and P King.

Heavily-inspired by Run DMC, Nas and early LL Cool J, GameTime, Cashus C.R.E.A.M’s debut mixtape, is a showcase of the many faces of a music lover’s artist. Hosted by the infamous DJ Green Lantern, GameTime features beats by Ron Browz, P King, Shea Taylor, DJ Drama affiliate Detroit Red, Noize Trip (who produced the title track), The Weirdos and Battery 5. Whether he’s rhyming about the complexities of relationships or the pull of the streets his hypnotic flow can go down as smooth as honey or as sharp as a straight razor. He calls himself “Mr. Fix It” because he always knows the perfect tool for the musical job at hand.

Cashus C.R.E.A.M stopped by "Po Politickin" to discuss his musical journey so far...

Po: Tell us a little about yourself.

Cashus C.R.E.A.M.: I was born and raised in Hartford, CT. My moms had me bussed out to suburban schools as a kid so I could get a better education, because the schools were terrible around my hood, plus she felt like me being around my homies would hinder my progress. It was in those suburban school systems that I saw how different we lived in the hood, and how limited our resources and opportunities for advancing in life were.

I went hard at sports, and eventually went on to play college football. I thought that would be my tool to give my moms a better life, never really having paid attention to my teachers telling me how talented of a writer I was. The combination of my love for music and my writing ability soon changed my career goals. I graduated from Eastern CT State University in 04', did the computer engineer thing at a Fortune 100 company called United Technologies to stack up bread, then a year later took my savings and headed out to the big city.

Po: How was it growing up? Who were you musical influences?

Cashus: Growing up was hard with just me and my moms. She had me at an early age and pretty much had to give her life away to make sure I could be somebody. That's what this grind is about for me. Giving my family the life they missed making sure I'd be a successful man. I was heavy on Run DMC as a kid. As a started to get more into Hip Hop and lyricism, I rocked with Slick Rick, Outkast, Rakim, Nas and Jay-Z. I also gravitated towards artists with heavy charisma like DMX and Onyx. Something about the energy they had that made me love music more.

Po: Describe your music. How does it differ from everyone else in the game?

Cashus: Just from my life experiences alone, I think my music is a bit different. Having had the best of both worlds as a kid (seeing the best things that the hood and suburbs had to offer) it allows me to attack my music with different perspective. Adding the fact that I went to college and have played the corporate scene also adds to my ability to do different things conceptually, and hit things from angles some people may not. Not to mention the fact that I'm a songwriter, so I don't always attack beats as a "rapper," but as a musician.

Po: Can you talk about your name? Does it have a special meaning?

Cashus: The name C.R.E.A.M. came from the acronym Cash Rules Everything Around Me. It was given to me when I was young because I always had some little hustle to make dough. All of my peers from around the way were older, but I kept up with all the trends and new video games and fashion because I was always chasing paper. Cashus came from the great Muhammad Ali. He had a way with words that was so powerful and captivating, whether it was about politics or sports, and although it was cocky and boastful, he backed it up when it came down to action. I feel the same way about my music and wordplay.

Po: I heard you a part of the song writing duo The HitterZz. Can describe that experience?

Cashus: It's great. I teamed up with my boy Shaliek Rivers and started writing pop and R&B in the beginning of '07. By the top of '08 we had gotten a publishing deal with Primary Wave Music and had placements on groups such as Prima J, The D.E.Y., and have placements pending for artists such as Jamie Foxx, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Lopez and David Archuleta.

Po: I read about your new mixtape, GameTime, hosted by the world-famous DJ Green Lantern. Can you tell us more about it? What was your thought process while creating the mixtape?

Cashus: My thought process was simple: It's Gametime! I just wanted to go in and let the world know I was here. Show some diversity and wittiness, and of course a broad array of concepts and freestyles. I want to give the world a sneak preview of things to come. Green co-signed on the music and put his stamp on it. The rest is history.

Po: What are your career goals?

Cashus: To be a successful entrepreneur and entertainer. Music is my passion, so I plan to use it as my stepping stone to becoming a self made man. I like to look at Will Smith's career as a marker to aim for.

Po: What advice would you give to aspiring emcees?

Cashus: The only people who don't get a chance are the people who stop trying. Everybody gets their shot when the time is right. Somebody once told me that half of being successful is just showing up. Keep "showing up" and perfecting your craft in the process. Bring something fresh to the table and don't stop showing up until you're relevant. And when you're relevant, keep showing up! [laughs]

Po: Where can we check out more of your music?

Cashus: I've always got a new freestyle or song on my blog-
cashuscream.blogspot.com or you can stop by cashuscream.com or www.tygereye.net/cashuscream

Po: Thanks for stopping by "Po Politickin." Any last words for the readers?

Cashus: It's GameTime! I will be seeing you all soon!

Artist Spotlight: Jaiden "The Cure"

In a time when real singers are few and far between in the music industry, we introduce Jaiden. Boasting a five and a half octave range and unparalleled control, Jaiden’s sound is mature and is one with which few of today’s artist can compare. He flaunts his songwriting skills with concepts that are brutally honest, and down-to-earth, in a way only he can. Jaiden has already established himself as a writer, penning lyrics for other well-known artists such as Jeannie Ortega, Case, and Carl Thomas. Jaiden has perfected his talents while working with super producers Rockwilder, Rich Harrison, Troy Oliver, Full Force and a host of other chart-topping producers. He has honed his stage show from touring experiences with Jay Z, P Diddy, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, John Legend, and Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park. Complimented for his tireless and professional work ethic and endless pursuit for musical perfection, it appears that now is the perfect time for Jaiden to emerge from the background and establish his star, ensuring the world takes notice.

Jaiden stopped by "Po Politickin" to discuss his musical journey so far...

Po: Tell us a lil' about yourself?

What up! My name is Jaiden....I'm a singer/songwriter/producer from Long Island, New York. I've spent the last few years writing and touring with Jay Z (American Gangster Tour), Alicia Keys, Diddy, Lauryn Hill, John Legend, Fort Minor etc...

Po: How was it growing up in Long Island?

Growing up in Long Island was interesting... LOL I was one of only a few black kids in my school. In fact, for years it was only my brother and I. Then, when I went to my babysitters or my grandmothers house there'd be only people that looked like me. There was a bit of a culture shock at times. My father was in the military and he past away when I was young. That was when music became my solace.

Po: How did you get involved in music? Who are your musical influences?

I come from a musical family. My mother sang all over the place and I just naturally picked up music. We had a piano in my house and I used to bang on it all the time...and the writing came from me trying to write love poems to girls in school...I realized they were a lot more effective as songs...

Po: I wanted you ask you about your name. Why do you refer to yourself as Jaiden "The Cure"?

"The Cure" comes from a talk I had with Quincy Jones after performing for him at his home in Bel Air. We spoke about the ill state of the music industry and that only somebody (like myself) coming in the game with real musicianship can bring back credibility to the industry. That's how I became dubbed "The Cure".

Po: I have also heard your established writer. Can you talk about some of the artists you have worked with? Which artist was your most favorite to work with?

A lot of times when I write for artists I write by myself in the lab and send them what I come up with...One of my most memorable sessions was working with Alicia Keys on the "Glory Road" movie soundtrack in LA. Also, touring and performing "Party Life" with Jay Z was big for me because I've always been a die hard Hova fan. One particular show I was on stage with Jay Z, Diddy, Lebron James, Beyonce, Nas, and Kanye West....That's moment I'll never forget.

Po: You have also been on some great tours with some wonderful artists. Can you describe that experience?

I've been blessed with the opportunity to tour the world several times. Touring with Diddy and Snoop was incredible because their reception around the world is mind boggling. Nothings better than being on the "Puff Puff Pass It To Snoop" tour in Amsterdam...HA!

Po: Where do you see yourself in 2013?

Well, '09 will mark the release of my debut record. Come hell or highwater I'm releasing an album this year. By 2013 I'd like to be at least 3 albums deep and continue expanding my catalog by writing with other artists. The goal is world domination!!

Po: Can you talk about your label and any current projects?

Currently I'm writing for Rihanna, J Holiday in addition to working on my own project. "Sideline" A song I placed with Interscope recording artist Mishon just got premiered on his show Lincoln Heights on ABC Family. I've just completed the first installment to my mixtape series entitled "The Cure Suite I," producing new music daily and spending each past and upcoming Wednesday evening at The Den in Harlem hosting my open mic called Uptown Unplugged... that has been real fun because a number of the artist I work with have come thru to show support and even graced the stage... come check me out if your in Harlem on a Wednesday

Po: What advice would to give to any aspiring artist?

Surround yourself with the best team you can and make sure they believe in your vision wholeheartedly. It'll make everything run smoother

Po: I appreciate you stopping by "Po Politickin". Can you tell the reader where to go if they want to check out more of your music?

Thanks to the bootleggers and fans...LOL I'm all over the place....I appreciate the interest in the material...I'm all over youtube, imeem, but check out my myspace page.
WWW.MYSPACE.COM/JAIDENIII There you can download some material for free, or purchase a few of my singles

Po: Any last words for the readers?

Look out for THE CURE SUITE I hitting the streets and the internet before the end of December, and if your in New York and love live music come thru Uptown Unplugged Wednesday night hosted by your boy Jaiden "The Cure"...

Jay Z & Jaiden "The Cure" - Party Life Live In New York

Artist Spotlight: Jae Life

Born and raised in the streets of Compton, California, Jerell Ray also known as Jaelife, rapidly realized that hip hop music would soon become more than just an ordinary hobby. Influenced by his second oldest brother, Steven Ray, also known as, VIP, Jaelife began writing and recording his own original material. All through Jr. High and high school Jae marvelously grasped the attention of his peers with his unique and incomparable style of rap.

Understanding that music has the ability to transform one’s mind, body, and soul, Jae imparts this wonderful gift of speech and brings it to life through music. In late 2008, Jae signs with Yahweh Nation, JuuNo Entertainment (YNJ ent). With family and determination, Jaelife is definitely on the path towards bridging the gap between gospel and the mainstream music.

Jae Life stopped by "Po Politickin" to discuss his musical journey thus far...

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself?

Well simply put Jae Life is that dude that everybody loves to chill wit. Among all my friends I that guy that keeps everybody laughing and having a good time. I like to enjoy life and truly live stress free because I know God takes care of all my worries and problems at the end of the day!

2. How was it growing up in Compton?

Growing up in Compton I experienced the most beautiful and at the same time the hardest experiences of my life! Being born and raised in Compton I got use to the environment like most individuals do growing up a lower class society. I saw and witness a lot of terrible things growing up in Compton, something an average young man shouldn’t have to experience. But gracefully I was blessed to have two hard working, God fearing parents to raise me. Because of this I never missed a meal or had to worry about wearing nice clothes because I had it all. But 6 days before my 13the birthday I lost my mother to diabetes. This crushed me as a young child but with the help of so many loving relatives and friends I got through it.. Weird thing is that all in that same year my mother died three crucial things happen that change my life forever. When I first turn 12 I gave my life to Christ and accepted him as my personal savior. A few months later my big brother introduced me to hip hop and I wrote my first rhyme, and later that year my mother died. It was like God was preparing me for my mother’s death here on earth, because now that I was saved I understood why she died and I didn’t take her death the wrong way. I was actually happy she passed on because she no longer had to suffer on this earth with her sickness. And one crucial thing that helps me get through the tuff times was my second love music. Many days I felt like crying I just picked up the pen and started to reflect those thoughts into poetry and hip hop songs.

3. How did you get started in music? Who were your musical influences?

Well like I said earlier my big brother introduced me to hip hop. And every since I was 12 I have been writing my own material. It was just one of those things that never left me all through my Jr. High and high school years. Over the years it became more than a hobby it became a passion. After I graduated from high school in 2000 was when I really decided that I wanted to pursue music as a career. Music has always been an influence in my life, plus my pops was a dj and he use to throw the live parties back in the 70's. So I remember him spinning them old 45''s around the house, groups like the O' jays, Temptations, Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, James Brown and many more. But as far as Hip Hop influences go artist like Snoop, Ice Cube, Kurupt, Jay Z, Big, Nas, Big L, and Wu tang had a major impact on my development and inspired me as an artist!

4. Describe your music and how it differs from the norm?

My music is the best so everybody go buy it lol! Naw but all jokes aside my music simply put is reality with a spiritual conscious! It is different from most rap you may hear because I speak truth. And when I say truth I ant talking about truth from man's eyes, but I’m speaking about the truth that comes for God almighty. It’s funny how everybody says they love God but so many do not speak on it! And well that's when I step it on em' and start speaking on it ya feel me!

5. Aside from music, what are your other hobbies?

When I’m not in the studio which is almost never! Pertaining to hobbies I love the game of basketball. I don’t' get to play much like I would like to and use too, because I now have a three year old to look after. I am also married to a beautiful woman so my hands are pretty much tied. Matter of fact now that I think of it I don't even know how I record half of my music lol!

6. What advice would you give to aspiring emcees?

To the emcees out there that's trying make it in this rap game its three rules I came of wit myself that helped me out tremendously and still do to this day. Number one is first ask yourself is this really something I want to do and why. You'll be amazed at how many people out there that just rap and they don't even know why. Once you ask yourself why I want to be an emcee you know understand your purpose and what you as an emcee can bring to the table. Second now that you understand and have a motive go out and research everything you can about the music industry. And not just what it takes to be an artist but learn the business. The more you know the more powerful you can be in establishing a successful career. Last but not lease keep grinding baby! Don't ever stop grinding no matter how the circumstances may seem, and don't ever get comfortable. You gotta remember there are a million rappers out there that are all fighting for that number one spot, so as soon as you relax you leave opportunity for the next man to take ya spot. And the scary thing is in this game your rarely get a second chance! So there it is hip hop 101 lol!

7. Can you talk about your label?

Naw man the label doesn’t pay me to talk lol! Yeah of course I can talk about my label. YNJ baby that is the label and please believe we on the rise! YNJ stands for Yahweh Nation Junno and I absolutely love the entire staff. We are all like one big family. I grind just as much as they grind for me and its all for the kingdom. I couldn’t ask the Lord for a better place to be right now then with YNJ they back me up 100% and support everything I do with the label and outside the label with other labels and artist. God is truly good homie!

8. Do you have any current projects?

Man I always got something I’m working on couldn’t stop making music if I wanted too! But yeah I do have a few projects I’m working on at the moment. One is a duo mixtape feat. My boy da duece who resides in Baton Rouge Louisiana. And most importantly I am working and in the process of recording my very first album titled "How Can I Help You". So world get ready!

9. How can we heard more of your music?

To hear more of Jaelife you can do several things. One which is the easiest check my myspace out at www.myspace.com/jaelife. I stay uploading new material like every 2wks I don't care about how many plays I get I just want to keep giving the people a variety of music to enjoy! Also you can go to the label website at www.ynjentertainment.com. And most importantly go download my new mixtape hosted by the 2008 holy hip hop dj award winner dj Sean Blu "Weird 2 the World' is the name of the mixtape. Which feat. My "step it up" track where I spitt 124 bars of heat and I know you Po was feeling it! You can download to whole mixtape for free at www.sacredapparelmixtapes.com.

Go cop that joint I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

10. I appreciate you stopping by Po Politickin, do you have any last words for the readers?

I just want to say thank you first of all from the bottom of my heart my dude for reaching out and allowing me this wonderful opportunity! Keep grinding and doing ya thing you got to really good thing going with this website and it’s good to know people out there still respect real hip hop and new talent. To all the readers if you want' get a word I said up to this point get this: It is never too late to except Christ unless you die, so if you still breathing and alive whatever you do in this life first make sure you get a relationship with Christ and the rest is history one!

Pistons acquire Allen Iverson

In a somewhat bold move last week, the Detroit Pistons sent G Chauncey Billups, and F Antonio McDyess to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for G Allen Iverson. This move comes as a bit of a surprise given how much Detroit likes Billups, and the timing of the move (right in the middle of a 4-0 season).

I feel that Detroit got the better end of this trade by a mile. For the last few years, I've been saying repeatedly, while watching Detroit essentially get bounced by one man teams, that Detroit needs a dynamic scorer to compete. You can have this team basketball and chemistry all you like, but in the NBA you need a superstar to win. Boston has Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett, the Spurs have Duncan, Miami had Shaq and Wade, the Lakers had Shaq and Kobe.

Team basketball is nice, but when it comes down to 2 minutes and you need one guy to take over a game, all those teams had their go to guy. Detroit has never had one until now. Now the jury is still out on whether Iverson can coexist with a team like Detroit, and whether his style of play can mesh with Detroit's halfcourt style. That being said, Detroit has NEVER had a great offensive player, they have never had someone who can consistently take over a game, and they have never had someone who can break down anyone in the league off the dribble. Now they have that dynamic playmaker, we'll see if he can fit into their plans.

I don't think Iverson is an NBA point guard though, so Detroit is going to have to do something in that regard. They can either slide Stuckey into the starting rotation, slide Iverson to the 2, then bring Hamilton off the bench, or place Iverson into the Ginobili role, of "Super Sub". Do I think this assures Detroit a title? No, but I do believe as a result of this trade they do have a better chance at a title than they did last week. If the trade doesn't work out for Detroit, they simply let Iverson go, move on with Stuckey as the point guard and hope to make a serious push at one of the big free agents in the off season of 2009. It is a win-win situation for the Pistons. They had gone as far as they were going to do with Billups leading them, it was time for a change, and Detroit made one and it works out well for them from every vantage point imaginable.

Now from Denver's standpoint, I don't think it's a good trade for them (basketball wise) but I realize given the fact that Iverson was going to walk after the season anyway, along with the fact that bad contracts (Kenyon Martin making 45 million for the next 3 seasons, and Nene making 41 million for the next 4 seasons), it makes the move almost a necessity for Denver to do this to remain competitive. Considering the fact that even with Iverson's contracts coming off the books, Denver was unlikely to be a serious player in free agency for either of the next 2 seasons, due to the terrible contracts of Nene and Martin in particular, the trade makes sense. I think that Iverson is the clearly superior basketball player but there are many reasons to make that trade for Denver. The financial reasons, getting a true point guard to run that offense up there, and defensively Billups is an upgrade (though I believe we will see him exposed a bit without the varying plethora of shotblockers that Detroit always put behind him). The move for Denver was a short term fix for what will end up as a long term problem. The move was made to stay competitive enough to keep the fans relatively interested but it doesn't make Denver a title contender now or in the future, unless a lot of things change.

All in all, its an even trade for both sides when you consider all of the external ramifications. Now hopefully for Iverson, for Detroit, and the fans of both parties, he can get that elusive first championship ring. It won't be easy, but I like Detroit's chances much more now than I did a week ago

Jets defeat Patriots 34-31; sit atop AFC East

That was a hell of a football game. There were so many ups and downs, so many momentum swings. The Jets went up 24-6 early, with a picture perfect offensive display, then when it came down to the 2 minute segment of the first half, the Jets let the Patriots off the ropes with conservative play.

The Patriots couldn't stop them for the entire first half, the Jets get the ball back and run once, then throw a short pass, then get a delay a game and finally run a draw then punt. After that the Patriots proceeded to take the ball and take all momentum, attacking Dwight Lowery and the rest of the bewildered Jets defense en route to a touchdown, which gave them life and sucked the wind out of the Jets.

Other thoughts on the game:

-I don't think the Jets will win anything with Eric Mangini on the sideline. There is no reason why the Jets should have been forced to win this game multiple times and that is exactly what happened. After dominating early, the Jets instead of burying the Patriots let the foot off the gas. Therefore the Patriots were in this game for far too long. Between the extremely frustrating rush 3 and 4 on defense, and the head scratching playcalling on offense, the Jets looked like a completely different football team. That is a sign of bad coaching.

-Dwight Lowery should not be a starting CB on a team with championship aspirations, period. I think he has promise, and he is doing alright for a 4th round rookie thrust into a starting role of a complicated scheme, but he isn't accustomed to the game speed in the NFL yet, and it shows every week. As much as I know Darrelle Revis is a stud, there is a reason no one throws at him. Why throw at him when you have Lowery on the other side?

- Jerricho Cotchery continues to be a Patriot killer. It seems like every time these two teams get together, Cotchery makes a big play to change the game. His fumble hurt, but with the amount of good he did, it went largely unnoticed. It's amazing that Herman Edwards really had this guy on the bench in favor of Captain Concussion, Wayne Chrebet. That one-handed catch he made on the duck thrown by Favre was absolutely splendid.

- Dustin Keller showed exactly why the Jets took him in the first round. He has playmaking ability, good speed, and has good hands. He played a great game tonight and caused problems for New England over the middle of the field, which came into play later on, when a NE linebacker jumped a route to Keller, leaving Coles open behind him on the catch that put the Jets in FG range during the OT session. The threat of Keller opened up space for Coles. It was a beautiful sight, and hopefully one that will be seen a few more times throughout the remainder of the season.

-Matt Cassel looked very good tonight. He made a lot of plays with his feet, and he has a strong arm as seen with the velocity he had on his passes. I think he has a future in the league, and think this Patriots offense could be potent with him, if he ever learns how to throw deep passes. He had Randy Moss open deep twice, and overthrew him by a mile each time. Other than that, his game is fine. Maybe it's the system masking his deficiencies? Who knows, but if the offensive line gives him time to pass the team will be fine.

-This is the type of game the Jets acquired Brett Favre to win, and win he did. Favre was magnificent tonight and this was his best game as a Jet to date. He was precise with his throws, he had his trademark fastball tonight. He made good decisions and got everyone involved in the game. He led the team to 27 points in hostile territory with a defensive wizard on the other sideline (one that has owned him for the last decade to boot), and led this team from the dead twice. After New England kicked the FG to tie the game at 24, Favre led the team down on a long touchdown drive. After New England tied the game at the end of the fourth in logic defying fashion, Favre drove the team down in overtime to win it. This is the type of game the Jets got Favre to win, and this is why I'm glad Favre is on this team instead of Chad Pennington. Thank god. Brett showed why he's a Hall of Famer, tonight. He took the team on his back and carried it to a win

- I love Leon Washington. The guy is exciting, and is a return demon. I wish they would give him the ball more but with Jones going the way he is, that case is starting to dwindle.

All in all, I am very proud of this Jets team. They went up 24-6, by dominating the Patriots, the Patriots came back, and they withstood the barrage on two different occasions. This is the type of game the Jets historically do not win, and never have. It feels like the culture is changing with the New York Jets, and we'll see how it goes even though I feel with each game I watch, the Jets slash a year off of my life. Artist Spotlight: Rico Paysos

Rap artist, songwriter, and lyricist Rico Paysos, has been perfecting his talents as an emcee for the last seven years. Born and raised in the same place as Hip Hop, "The Boogie Down" Bronx, New York, he would later relocate to Long Island. Rico Paysos speaks about his experiences and about every view of his life as he has seen while walking the top of the devil's roof. Whether it is cash, drugs, crime, women, lust, dreams, love, struggles and the come up; Rico Paysos is not afraid to share his soul and experience with his audience. His music does not merely speak about life; it is Life, because everyone can relate to it.

Rico stopped by "Po Politickin" to discuss his musical journey thus far....

1. Tell us a little about yourself?
I'm originally from the South Bronx, I lived the first half of decade of my life in Puerto Rico. I moved to long island when I was like in 2nd grade. I started making music under the direction of the legendary Johnny Juice of Public Enemy. I grew up grindin' and loccin'. I got knocced in 03, did a stint came home, went to college, got a bachelors in media and communication. I always knew I wanted to make music na mean, and I knew I had to learn the business and how the behind the scenes work. I don't have intentions in gettin' G'd out of my paper or rights to my music, and it helped me build myself as an artist because I am capable to administrate all aspects of my career, but na mean right now I'm just focusing on the music and the substance. Gallic Wars & Tawag Promo handle all the in's and out's ya dig...Big Caesar, MadMan Lando, Whats Craccin baby!!!

2. How was it growing up?
Growing up was whatever, it got kinda vida loca at one time. I was a regular little nigga into sports and shit. I lost all my male role models that i admired and kept me focused. I ended up in a single parent household and soul in limbo tryin to find himself. I became the A-Typical problem child. I started bangin' when I was 14, that gave a speed burst through adolescence. I grew up too fast and missed out on being a regular kid. I spent too much time chasing money and watching my bacc that i missed out on a lot of shit in life! Luckily for me, I had some unfortunate drama with some bitch ass niggas that helped me realize I wanted more out of life, and it was up to me to make it happen. So I had my share of bullshit ya dig me, anybody that tells you they enjoy livin with they finger on the trigger and in the trap, is full of it. I did what I had to do, and i will still get it craccin any minute, but na mean this life, I'm living right now. Its so different then where I came from, and making music and being successful is all I want!

3. Describe your music? How was it differs from everyone else in the game?
I don't describe the music, it describes itself, that what makes it good.

4. Who's your top five favorite rappers?
This is in no particular order but, Biggie, Nas, Pac, Snoop, and Andre 3000

5. What's your top five albums of all-time?
Ill Matic, Life after Death, Doggystyle, All Eyez on Me, American Gangster

6. I notice you been doing your thing on the mixtape scene. Can you talk about that experience?
Awww yeah...G-Dub Gang, Gallic Wars, Never Retreat, Never Surrender! thats the first I gotta say bout that. I'm on my shit, I got the myspace poppin, now the mixtapes is coming up, and my google game crazy. The experience is crazy, I love it, I make music for people to listen to it and the mixtape help me satisfy that addiction. Right now I got a couple big mixtape projects I work on. "Sour D & Goose" vol.1 co-hosted by DJ ENVY & Rico Paysos, which is a series Envy and I put together to give exposures to hotest unsigned artist out here! The Cracc Baby era of hip hop!!!

7. I read about you hooking up with Gallic Wars? Can you talk about that deal?
Yeah I signed with Gallic wars as my management a couple months, it's been a blissful relationship, I work hard, and my team works hard, and Big Caesar is a beast na mean, so it's mutually beneficial and dope relationship na mean....its a big deal to get the bigger deal, feel me!

8. What are your career goals?
my goals are to get some grammy's, some emmy's, some AMA's, some MTV astronauts na mean, eventually a VH1 hip hop honors, you know something light.

9. What advice would you give to aspiring emcees?
believe in yourself, or nobody else will...

10. Where can we check out more of your music?
